The site is now open, permanent and will not come down unless requested by the Committee.
It hast been a very long time in the making. Since the last, permanent site went up and came down in October last year, I have listened very carefully to members, committee members and people who wish to join.
The reason the last version came down was because quite a few members considered their pictures, on the front page, to be an infringement of their rights of privacy. I immediately removed the site. There was absolutely no point offending anyone, right at the start. Interestingly, since then, many members have said they liked that feature and were very happy with the first site. The old saying goes ‘you can’t please all the…’ you know what I mean.
